Other examples of Masonic affiliated organizations are: The Shrine (Shriners); York Rite; Grotto; Eastern Star, DeMolay International, Job’s Daughter’s, International Order of Rainbow for Girls and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. The Scottish Rite consists of the 4th through 32nd Degree and an honorary 33rd, which is awarded for exceptional service.

It is the nation's single largest fundraising event for research for the American Cancer Society. The Cattle Baron's Ball has raised more than $34 million over the last 34 years in an ongoing pursuit of a cure for cancer. One hundred active volunteers are responsible for raising the funds to meet this year's fundraising goal. 2008 funding will benefit promising, cutting-edge cancer researchers at acclaimed institutions including UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
