Scottish Rite
The Scottish Rite is a Masonic organization that continues a Master Mason’s education of the first three degrees. Other examples of Masonic affiliated organizations are: The Shrine (Shriners); York Rite; Grotto; Eastern Star, DeMolay International, Job’s Daughter’s, International Order of Rainbow for Girls and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon. The Scottish Rite consists of the 4th through 32nd Degree and an honorary 33rd, which is awarded for exceptional service.

Share our Strength Taste of the Nation Dallas
The nation's premier culinary benefit to end childhood hunger, Taste of the Nation has raised more than $70 million since its inception in 1988, providing valuable support to more than 450 organizations working to end childhood hunger in their communities. The events range from black tie affairs to casual outdoor barbeques. Events raise both funds and awareness of Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger in America. Each year, Taste of the Nation attracts more than 55,000 guests
 
The Cancer Monument
The Cancer Monument will facilitate public cancer education, awareness, research advocacy, prevention, and early detection through projects like The Cancer Monument and others that may lead to a cure or enhance the lives of patients and their families.

Cattle Barons Ball
The Dallas Cattle Baron's Ball raises funds for cancer research and has been a Texas tradition since 1974. It is the nation's single largest fundraising event for research for the American Cancer Society. The Cattle Baron's Ball has raised more than $34 million over the last 34 years in an ongoing pursuit of a cure for cancer. One hundred active volunteers are responsible for raising the funds to meet this year's fundraising goal. 2008 funding will benefit promising, cutting-edge cancer researchers at acclaimed institutions including UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

The Junior League of Dallas is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors, and entire communities.
